The Pellet Feed and Biochar Cooling System provided by Laitex for Carbo Culture's Carbolysis™ project play a crucial role in the conversion of waste biomass into stable biochar while also generating renewable energy.

Pellet Feed System

The pellet feed system is responsible for delivering the raw material, which consists of wood pellets from a manufacturer nearby, to the Carbolysis™ reactor. This part of the process ensures a continuous and controlled supply of raw material to the reactor.

Biochar Cooling System

Cooling of biochar is critical after finishing the carbonizing process. That is because of the self-ignition of biochar at a certain temperature when exposed to air. Safe and reliable cooling of biochar is done with Laitex cooling screw conveyors in this project.
