Laitex is pleased to announce the successful completion of our project delivery to Outokumpu’s agglomeration plant* in Tornio, Finland. The collaboration has now concluded from Laitex’s side, and we are proud to have played a key role in supporting Outokumpu’s strategy to strengthen its leadership in sustainability in stainless-steel production.
The biocoke plant represents a forward-looking investment to secure access to high-quality raw materials. Laitex contributed essential material handling systems tailored to the unique needs of biocoke processing.
These included:
- material receiving systems,
- quality control equipment,
- silo and storage solutions,
- pneumatic truck unloading lines,
- and end-product loading systems,
forming a comprehensive chain to support the pelletizing process.
