Kupsanen started in the new position as of October 1st, 2018. Service Business is a part of LAITEX2021-strategy, where customer service and customer experience are in the key role. “We have delivered over 8000 pieces of equipment over last three decades all over the world. From now on we can serve better the lifecycle of our equipment through customer service. While our project and equipment deliveries have increased, we want to serve our customers better also after the implementation”, states CEO Lasse Kurronen.

Timo Kupsanen has a strong background in a service business. He has been leading Outotec’s service business in the Middle East and worked as a service product manager. Process knowledge, own manufacturing and strong engineering are one of the strengths of Laitex according to Kupsanen. “Long history of Laitex and knowhow of technologies ensure a solid base for service business. Own design and production will support the service offering towards the customers, says Kupsanen.

Customers will notice the change through better contacts and faster response. Laitex will develop new products and services through service and maintenance offerings and through possibilities provided by IoT.
